Hedges I'm just over the border in County Monaghan. I've found that a lot of hardwares and builders providers are stocking it here. No one in Ireland can mix up an exact vw colour though. For that it's Avenue Coatings in England.

Not rollered but I sprayed mine with Rustoleum with a compressor and hvlp gun

Just been looking at Avenue coatings, I'm gonna go with the roller option. Question is what am I ordering and also do I need primer etc?

Rustoleum Combicolor Gloss.
You don't need a primer if your existing paintwork is good, just sand it to create a key for the new paint. If you need primer pretty much any automotive primer will work. I used cellulose high build primer on mine.

Im planning to paint my T3 WBX syncro with roller, just because my mates wont let me spray it in our garage AND because im doing the prep work my self, my pro painter buddy said "it will look like hell if you spray paint it" I realized there is almost 200 pages of this so it must be succesful way to paint your car, too bad i dont have time to read all the pages. Im planning to use 2K paint, has acrylic primer with rust preventing chemicals. Any tips or suggestions? How many coats etc.

My one tip would be to read the first page of this thread and order yourself the DVD. A tenner well spent and much quicker to watch than reading the whole 200 pages here!

I think you'll struggle to roller 2k paint and get a good finish. It would probably dissolve foam rollers too.

Why don't you have time to read the thread? Consider it preparation time which we all know is the key to success. Failure to invest your time in prep before final painting usually ends in a less than satisfactory result. Besides, you'll learn tips as well as what not to do.

How come? At least according to paint shop this 2K paint is widely used, with rollers too. If you have any facts to support it, id like to hear before i make the purchase :)Too bad im painting the car most likely this weekend, so the DVD wont make it before that. BTW. how long is the drying time between layers?
