Yes they will mix it up from a tintable base. I just ordered it via the website and put "Volkswagen LH5G Medium Blue AC0192" in the colour choice box.

Unfortunately they don't ship to Northern Ireland .I am going to try to locate a stockist here .From what I have been reading the Sky Blue RAL 5015 is as close as ..If I cant get some LH5G mixed this will do ok.

I've already tried that - nowhere in Ireland can mix it, they just have the standard colours.

Will do :ok

Any suggestions for a decent hard wearing black paint I can put on my vactan treated bumpers?
Ordering combi color for the bodywork and was thinking either rust oleum multi purpose or painters touch.Hammerite is another option..

Errr, what's wrong with black Rustoleum??? Put it on my tow bar a year or two ago and it still looks a treat.

Rustoleum combicolor satin black. I used it for my bumpers and for the dashboard I used rustoleum rattle can "aged iron" followed by the black satin.

Lots of folk use matt black or gloss black for bumpers, mirrors, bumper end caps and suchlike. In my opinion SATIN black gives a much better finish. Just my opinion.

I am not concerned with the finish its the durability and lasting coverage that's important.I will be sanding the bumpers and applying vactan though,so I guess any rust oleum paint will be ok ..

As has been said, Combicolour is more than good enough. I'd steer clear from matt or satin on the bumpers as it shows every little bit if muck and looks continuously dirty. Gloss, somehow, shows less filth.

Hi,

Reading carefully this subject, plan on roller painting my Syncro with rustoleum ultra flat deep forest green (army style).http://www.rustoleum.com/product-catalo ... age-spray/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Any advice with this kind of paint? Is between choose another, or some combi color one? (Or profesional líne or another).

(I mailed you covkid, cause i want to buy the DVD)

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I painted my van (sorry not a VW) with Rustoleum and it is now cracking where there is filler.
Should you seal filler before applying Rustoleum?

Cheers
