Well not been lazy but its had mech stuff going on and should have struck these up a few days ago, anyhow some of the last of the primers
you will see there is nothing in the seams except paints, the seam sealer only goes in prior to topcoats
back rear corner, were taking paint line further in as its a change of colour :D
Image
the delved in osr corner
Image
nsf wing , looks untidy as do many of the seams but they soon even out
Image
repaired filler hole
Image
this repair is looking fine to me now in primer so should translate well in gloss
Image
all new metal here
Image
happier front end

Well,we go back a good few days, had issued with the booth burner electronics, sometimes life conspires against you no matter what, any how after all the pre gloss prep we do a final stopping up, looks like measles  but a pin hole in the primer = a glossy hole when painted
Image
then final recoat.oh and there was also a major issue with silicone contamination which i wont go into now,so we are seam sealed, this way you have the seam coated etc with all the paints etc that you should and the sealer is there for show and to clean/neaten and finnish the join basicaly and it has a certain flexibility which we want
Image
ditto
Image
this horrible area is good enough now
Image
and
Image
so next step was the loose panals into the booth to be painted a proper colour :D
Image
doors were quite straight and zero rot that i could find
Image
same with tailgate, a nice one
Image
then
Image
nice new steel
Image
all is now well in here and weve taken the paint round all the areas that will show including the screen pillars
Image
this was the awkward little repair to the seal reccess
Image
better view of this side
Image
spent hours removing silicone sealnt (clear) from all the seals, .it was used as an adhesive  dumbo plus so much overspray , ran most of the bolts/screws etc through a wire wheel to get the crud off them and most things are looking nice now, new seals have fitted very nice to the glass, of the glass. hah wait and see but very nice
ive deleted a couple of picks as that useless p bucket accepts my editing as in rotating the picky i save and replace original and it still shows wrong way , i give up tonight

Well playing catchup with the pickies
as i said before ,loads of time getting ris of overspray and such, these back lights only tokk maybe 5-10 mins a piece but it adds up when you figure in all the screws and such that need cleaning, but worth it in the end
Image
loaked myself out of the other account as i was going to put a before after in , will E D I T later but the skanky fronts now look a bit better ,got the seals from chris at vw emporium, cant knock them for factory windowsImage
t other side
Image
chrome bumper has come up well and im happy with the front
Image
slider needs a touch of adjustment but will be fine
Image
this is better, was a headache to sort supprisingly
Image
Image
sill is ok,have added a very fine stonechip to the lower part and also the wheelarch lips, just helps bounce the chippings off and its all painted underneath
Image
from the other end. this is how i like to see them, straight and in two parts as built
Image
lastly the os striker just cos i like the look of it.its these and the screw heads that i run up on the bench wire wheel and it brings them up niice and clean :D
Image
havent got to my favorite yet ...............jets
