You haven't heard?......
Basically I hydro locked the engine this time last year, started off just sounding slightly rougher when cold and has now got the stage where if I rev the engine is misfires and pours out white smoke. Comp test shows 70psi down on number 3 cylinder. Also down around 30bhp and a gob of torque. Still drives ok though, so getting a engine rebuild with all new bearings, rings ect. I'll then get it back and go over the top and build it into a 'turn key' engine with all new ancillaries and then swap em over?
And yes, it will get bling'd up too. All parts beadblasted, some bits zinc'd

just can't help myself....

You shall have to explain that unsealedness sometime, as I thought they all dealt with water properly, as in german style.. 'thought about, designed a round, dunned dat!'

the person who did the engine conversion didnt seal the pipe in the D pillar to the plastic snorkel, just put them in the same vecinity . So the pipe filled with water.
