Window frame blisters on the tailgate = glass out and find out what's causing it ASAP. I've got one that's taped over and every time it's closed it rains a little cascade of brown flakes out the drain holes :(

Emm.... I hate to have to tell you but unless you remove all signs of rust it will be back again in no time. You need to get a good sander to that rust.

I know I know

I will be removing the windows very soon now the summer has arrived, and will be armed with a sander.

Im far from happy how things have gone, and with me painting the rear with smooth hammerrite instead of paint, but my longterm plan is to sand this down, and colourcode when I get the right paint.

Got my rear bumper repaired, straight now, and also sort out my bent rubber bump strips..

Looking forward to refitting the bumpers, and the refurbished towbar. Just need to get two new pairs of bumper endcaps, and a tow bar electric pack.

Sprayed the lower grill in matt black after a good sanding down, which was the hardest part..

Refurbished and painted my VW tow bar ball too.

Next up is to sand down rear bumper again after filling a couple of holes, paint it, then onto the upper grill which looks tatty due to chrome surround wearing off. I shall be doing this matt black also.
