i told ross 3 would be early enough,, i'll ring him tomorra if you need earlier.

it's blowing a hooley here but i'm home from work and will be at shirebrook for 3 as planned

same here, but weather forcast shows 10mph gust later, think I'll go against a wall!

well all i can say is wow what a friendly place this has to be the best welcome we've recieved anywhere. there was never a feeling of "yeh we'll take your money but we don't really want you here" for the whole weekend. the facilities were ace, the volanteers couldn't do enough for us, the regulars in the club welcomed us with open arms and even malc smiled a lot and ran an extra bingo night to keep us entertained.
i think we definately have a great venue for the club in the future. it's a cross between wild camping with no holds barred and up to date facilties with friendly staff. anyone who likes to just camp out and do there own thing will love this place

thanks to all who camped with us, it was a pleasure to meet new friends and old.
many thanks to ross and his team for making our stay so pleasant and un-complicated
thanks to steve and his crew for the excellent cheap food on offer whenever we wanted it, i didn't cook all weekend
guys i really believe that this venue is one for the future and as such i'll be organising a winter camp here (maybe a techy weekend if anyone wants one) and then hopefully with help from kev and company, an 80-90 anniversary camp at this time next year.

thanks folks great compliments,we all thoroughly enjoyed it,i`ll pass on your comments to malc and the gang.you all know where we are now and what we`re all about and we all hope to see you all in the future,it was all the talk in the club this afternoon two of the comments were"what a lovely friendly bunch of people"and"are they coming again"so you know your more than welcome anytime.Hope you all had a safe journey home and we"ll keep in touch ok....thanks again....Right i`m off for a couple of paracetomol and then i`m off up the wooden hill to bed"knackered" yawwwwwn.....see ya all Ross
