Given my present state of affairs ( one of the used front 16" shafts I bought is basically unusable ) I am waiting on a replacement from Finland. Other than that I am resigned to the fact that they are virtually impossible to find - which ( together with associated costs) explains why a percentage of 16" vans have over the years ended up with 14" front shafts. I may have to embrace that route but for now I am hanging on to the hope that a pair might magic themselves up. Having said that I'm off to advertise accordingly in wanted section .

as Al said i can get shafts made new that will be bomb proof on a syncro, well unless you decide to run a 400 bhp syncro. trouble is the load will be transfered else where which i think may start giving Aidan headaches.

I feel for you Lee, I'd prefer to be changing driveshafts rather than messing about with manifolds.
