i tried baxters method and it worked a treat thank you .. i also put an extra earth from the bell housing and now it also turns like a trooper ..i even managed to go out it for the fist time since i got it two years ago and was well happy . it pulls well sounds great the only problem now is when i got home and tried to start it again it wouldn't fire when it was hot and when it had cooled it fired strait up any ideas please.....

OK you may have an air leak into the induction side....
there are many many reasons.
use the search in mechanical for "air leak"
