Is the stud terminal on a wbx alternator the definite identifier for the higher output variants then?
Could explain why the cheap s/h replacement I got a while ago (not worth recounting the tale) was a 3-blade plug type, so no use part from the pulley (I'd been running it for ages with the wrong one!)

Ive had a look on Wood Autos web site
http://woodauto.com/default.aspx
It looks like T25's have been fitted with 45 & 65 A alternators with the plug connector
And 45, 65 & 90 A alternators with the stud terminals.
Maybe its to do with age or spec ?

Ah, ok. It's a non-original (stud type) alternator so I don't know what it puts out anyway

I bought new bearings and a regulator from them for my 90amp alternator - a fraction of the price of a recon unit.
