Someone with admin rights should be able to just change your username (I'm an admin on a forum that uses the same software as here and I've done it on there a few times.)

Page 4, 4th paragraph "...En jaar na jaar maak ons die Kewer meer Kewer...". Gotta love those "bilingual" brochures from back then, because right next to it in English "...And year by year we've made the Beetle more than a Beetle..."

No, it is "kewer" in Afrikaans. The 2 languages parted company a good few hundred years back so the variations in spelling, which letters make what sounds, and so on have made them 2 seperate languages as they are now. If you are interested in Dutch and related languages have a look here ->

Ag ya nee.Ek het meeste fan die tyde met die rooineke spandeer.
En nou spandeer ek meeste fan die tyde met die rooi kope,en ek is a rooi kop myself.
Baie dankie vier die informasie(verskoon mei speling maar dit is meer as tien yaar laas dat ek afrikaans skreive)

I had a fair mix of rooi nekke and boere for friends. Guess we're both real soutpiele these days. You keeping your fellow rooi koppe in check up there.
