at tick over rest your foot on the brake pedal
turn engine off
wait about 20 seconds
does your foot rise sligtly on the brake pedal as it becomes stiff or does it need pumping with the engine off to become stiff?
if it becomes stiff without pumping then you have a servo or vacume pipe leakage.
usually tho a master cylinder will fail filling the brake servo up with brake fluid( continually topping up the fluid with no loss?)
the brake fluid will eventually damage the brake servo causing it too leak
i have seen many a new master cylinder fitted and the servo is full of brake fluid causing poor servo action !
always check inside the servo when removing the master cylinder!!
