Stella is a strong lager bier from Belgium. In Belgium it has a reputation for being a high quality premium product much appreciated by lager drinkers.



It is also brewed under licence here in the UK and somebody, somewhere has really dropped the ball with the recipe. Over here it's reputation has been somewhat sullied by the unfortunately common side effect of inducing complete psychopathic behaviour in some (but not all) of it's customers. Such is the inevitability of this side effect manifesting itself on a regular basis it is affectionately known in the UK as

strange thing isthat Ifirst drank stell on draft in about the mid 70's, my local had northcountry breweries lager,(cheap and cheap tasting) and stella, now thing is, that stella was regarded as a premium lager, it cost a load then and had a good sharp taste, 2 pints was enough for me, im wondering if its a diffeent brew to the recent tinned headache

Gottcha! Kind of like time travel in a bottle. Jager seems to have the some affect on some people. I personally have never had Stella, I prefer English stlye ales.

This is turning into a true alcoholics thread. My local has started selling Desperado. it is a sweetened lager in a bottle with tequilla in it. Problem is it tastes so nice. I pop down for a roast on a Sunday, get the taste for it and end up getting trashed. Bloody stuff.

Reading about the propex and eberspacher heaters - they fit under the rock and roll bed - however I have also read LPG also fit there, is there room for both...? Or an alternative siting for one or the other?

propex is the size of a shoebox, so there's plenty of room.

here's my 72 liter tank and as you can see the propane bottle next to it.. which is bigger than propex

I asked my insurers if I could fit a solid fuel stove in my camper and they replied...
"We can advise that we have run through adding the modification of a solid fuel stove to your camper van and we can confirm that there was no additional premium due for this change. Therefore, we advise that once this change has been carried out that you contact us to advise of this and any other modifications you may fit to your vehicle, so we are able to amend your policy accordingly."
I'll let them know in a week or two!!
