They were an option here that not many took up due to the mini experience probably :D

That's not really what I meant.

I just said - personally I liked them - personally I liked them on an US spec Van - a simple opinion.

No more no less.

I shall be removing them immediately and in future shall express no further opinion about opening quarter lights. I apologise for having them on my van and I shan't do it again.

I am off to write 100 lines :) :) :) :)

With regards to luxury US Spec - there was an idea that US Vans should be better equipped more luxury - but there is nothing on a US Van that can't be had on a Euro or South African Van.

Keep them, they make a massive difference when its hot, you can direct the incoming air into the cab it's great at cooling you down.
To be honest I thought they were a waist of time until my new van came with them, wouldn't go back now though.

Mine stay open at 65 heading into the 45mph headwinds you get on the M65 as I head east from tropical west lancs towards the hilly tundra of east lancs :ok

TBH one is even a tad stiff to open

Oh and they HAVE to be green tinted (to match the door windows) :D

try keeping one open at any meaningful speed to ventilate.

Character...lol :D

Not sure it goes that fast anyway. I'll keep 'em for now unless someone makes me a silly offer..............lol
Back to fixing the motor. Will be ordering new valve stem seal, head gasket, crank seal, head bolts, etc etc and collect them when I get to blighty in 2 weeks.
Then fix it all when I get back.

can't even ask asensible question before he (doug) gets on the forum maoning about not having any opening quarter lights.
Vans worth more to me at the mo than money, so keeping it for now, unless some silly surfer in the summer offers silly money for it.
I'll pop in for coffee sometime tho.
