Ah, Steve's talking about the pipes around the engine to the lhs of engine bay, not the rad are... then back to those equatorial Govts and Thames Water then... life goes on

no need to lookie at rad, all i needed to know was engine and cooling system details........
MV..........
then the over temp warning light will be run by the sender in the thermo housing, lhs, front of engine, just below the electrics box on the baulkhead, and there are two senders, secured by a badly designed clips, make sure you get a new "o" ring when you change these, and iiwy a new clip.......

the light wont flash if the temp is too high, only if the water level is low in the headertank if the temp sender is at fault..... so test it by connecting the two wire that go to the sender together, and the needle will go to "ever-so-frelling- hot" end of the gauge if its the sender, and not if its the wiring or dash pod.....

Thanks

Cheers Steve.

will do as you suggest. Will have to be this evening as a busy day looms ahead.

Cheers, Paul.

PS: any idea where I can get a manual for this vehicle - have searched autojumbles and the web but nothing, would help me stop asking dumb questions.
