Mine goes out if the wind outside is blowing hard in the wrong direction ! (and that is with the correct type flue cover thing)
Also the only time I did drive off with it on, after a couple of miles there was a loud POP from the flue that didn't half make me jump, so I always turn it off before driving now.
p.s. = even on minimum it has been known to freeze milk etc
