Bought mine on fleabay - thats all I remember. Was a few years ago. Bear in mind that if you ever use a trailer, that too would need the indicator bulbs swapped to LED for it to work normally.

The fleaby auctions for the relay are here, this is dual relay that works with both LED and conventional bulbs, I'm not sure whether this works in the standard fuse board, so if anybody can advise that would be great:

The in line resisitors are here:

Thanks

Tiny detail: The resistors go across the bulb connections, not 'in line'.

But resistors are a horrible way of doing it anyway - use a suitable relay like mentioned above.

When I fitted my smoked front indicators I wired in the extra driving lights but I soon found that the orange light from them made it harder to make out the indicators. Well I've now got a 12v connector at each side of the van crying out for some LED bling.

Are there any legal impications for fitting those LED strips around the front grill which will only come on when the headlights are on??

Got the relay as recommended, and they now work a treat. I have filaments on the front and LEDs on the back, also have clear rear light clusters so should be good for the MOT. Thanks for your help.

white to the front
amber if in an indicator unit

amber to the sides

red to the rear

this will keep mr mot /plod happy

if you can switch them off for the mot so only the required minimum work then they are not part of the mot!

Does the LED relay just replace the standard indicator relay in the fusebox?

Can you fit LED's for the sidelights too?

Can anyone reccommend decent LEDs that last for the front and rear indicators (amber) as well as reverse, stop, fog and rear light

Just so I don't get naff ones that don't last :ok
