We had a week of low fourties the first time we went to Corsica in the old Syncro Autosleeper high top; we had the fridge running on gas pumping heat into the van and when we arrived we put the tunnel awning on the side, were not camped in much shade and tried cooking in the van BEFORE the sun had gone down.
How to turn the inside of your van into a pressure vessel!
Luckily it culminated in a huge storm which really calmed things down with lower temperatures. Second week was bliss, otherwise we probably would never have gone back!
Interested about Pag because its joined by bridge to the mainland, thought it might be more like some of the coast campsites we had stayed at on the mainland which in August we found just a tad overcrowded! Think I have a photo somewhere of us shoehorned in to a plot barely 3 meters square in the middle of a crossroads, we left after one night.
Enjoying the vids!

I feel your pain,
The campsite we stayed at in the video in Croatia (Istria in the north) was abit chocker block and you didnt get much room. The Europeans dont go to big on personal space do they

But in the next Video you will see what it was like on Pag. We stayed in the north of the island were not many tourists venture hence getting the ferry and not driving further south then back up north again then all he way back to get back up again. We did plan on spending much more time in Croatia but to be honest the weather was just to hot, even the sea was hot

We couldnt do anything between 12 noon and 6pm because of the heat but it was good and as you will know the snorkeling was amazing and worth going just for that.
Slovenia was much better for us and in video 3

Well done jed Ah the Balkans my old stomping ground try and get down to Montenegro next time much more beautiful and cheaper than Croatia and drop into Dubrovnik which is beautiful

did a similar trip (slightly more adult orientated though

)three years ago down to Vis to hook up with mates for a 2 weeks, the best of the dalmation islands IMHO and included festivals, lost days with mates in Ljubljana and Zurich

, Guca trumpet festival in Serbia
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gu" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;ča_Trumpet_Festival and inadvertently drinking with war criminals in split

(they just invited themselves into our company

there's a good few around split/Dalmatia )
Glad you enjoyed Slovenia one of the best countries in Europe and is so pretty in the winter

good vid
Have to admit, bears would worry me. when me and Jo stayed in algonquin park, you could go on these allday walks. about 6hrs in, and not seeing another person you see a sign saying WARNING BEARS! I mwan they could have told you that at the start of the walk!
