). Do-able? from a paperwork point of view?
It's doable, but certainly would be best to plan well ahead, ensuring all paperwork, and legal stuff covered.

Hi,
I have been to these auctions a few times 2007/2008 but you need to speak the language or have a local contact otherwise its useless.
I rememer i bought 4 ambulances and 3 blue caravelles on one aurctio, all 16"
If there is only 2 it looks like there aren't many left!

Yes lucky owner, maybe Ambulance with same good condition with no rust costs near 10keur in Germany. Never have seen so nice Krankenwagen live
So it leaves enough money left for rebuilding gearbox?
Krankenwagen bids were made in finnish and english, nice service from Millog auction staff.
Next Auction day Tampere Kalkku Depot has been announced! Wendesday 05.10.2011 klo 09:00 wellcome to Finland mates

Ouch! €6k and a broken gearbox! I feel I got a bit of a bargain with my Syncro, yes, its only a 14", but for €1350, Im happy. Spent around €600 on Flint so far to bring him up to scratch, serviceable items etc.
