A few of us toured France and Spain last year and here is a video of the trip. We stayed mostly on Aires so you will get the idea and see no tents

We're travelling down to the La Rochelle area in August and we bought the "France Passion" book, which allows you to stay free overnight(24hrs) at vineyards , Farms ect..

you sound like my insurance company when i had my wallet nicked
" do you have any picures of you and your wallet mr page "
used to do it when we were towing motorbikes down to spain and we were 5 up in a car going to cartegena ( spelling). also done it in the middle of winter by grenoble on our way snowboarding ( not for the feint hearted that one ). i would just deal with any probs as, when and if they arose.
if you are that worried about it, and this sort of defeats the object of a camper, then book into a formula one. cheap as chips, and all pile int one room.

Hello,
If there are 4 of you, you may want to look at 'camping municipales.
They are not dear, (esp split 4 ways!!)
Giving you a slice of French life, hot showers and petanques
Cordialement,

They're all the Germans Ian - we saw loads of 'em last year in France, classic one was loads of them at Oradore St Glane!!!!!

all the aires i have stayed in there was no room to swing a cat they are so popular ,mind you this was in august the beauty of having a t25 tho is that you are able to squeeze into a space all the other flash motorhomes cant , i supose there are rules so people dont take the mike ,if someone had thier awning out and it meant it took the space for another van id be right pissed of wouldnt you especially after a long drive at the end of the day ,its all about respect for others and using them for the purpose they are meant for !!!!!
