Its a Cologne V6 not the Essex V6. There's quite a bit of difference between them, the weight for one thing. 305 kg for Cologne and 379kg for the Essex.
Still a heavy bugger though.

Blimy that's nearly as heavy as my harley !!! I've got a slight memory of owning a 2.3 V6 cortina with a taunus engine back in the mist of time, think i'ts the same, about 115-120 bhp :?: :?:

Yes good luck.

There is at least one other person on here with a ford V6 powered van by the way, don't know who it is off the top of my head but should be easy to find with search. E D I T = I wonder why the word F o r d gets blanked on here :?

Made it back in one piece. Used rather a lot of fuel though, about 14mpg ! Fuel gauge very eratic , are new senders available?
Engine did not feel to running very well, lacking in power. Struggles to maintain 100 Kph.
Very pleased with the condition of the body work , especially underneath. Really bad roller painted paint job though, but it does tend to suit it. It reminds me of my Pinzgauer 710 that i regretalbly sold
a couple of years ago.

Think i'll give the engine a quick plugs/points/leads. See if it improves, However i think long term i'll be swapping to either Suburu power or VW Tdi? Any views on best engine conversion?

Think i'll be asking a lot of questions on here.
