Noo, nooo, everybody who's going knows where it is by now, just that we'll be watching the England game Sat night and we don't want any trouble from the locals - if you'e nearby, just listen out for exploding TV tubes as the empty beer bottles strike. But of course, we might win...

Ye have to do a funny walk maybe, like on all fours... and of course there's the fire-walking initiation of a Friday night, Pete Morrill is judging it this year - no running

Joking aside, is there any reason it can't be posted whereabouts this is? Previous events have had maps and directions on the website.

As far as I know, there is only one site that it can be. However, it would be nice to know for sure as I was wondering about a bit of greenlaning for those who can get there earlier on the friday, as I may know some lanes round 'there'.

Cheers,

Sam.

Sam,

When we get there Friday there will be plenty of oganisation to do on site.. We are green-laning after the event, on the Monday, having camped over Sunday night (£5 extra per unit), which makes better sense we thought to focus on the meeting first and foremost...
There is a good reason we aren't publishing the site location to those who haven't booked the event... its a private site, the landowner doesn't want it splashed everywhere and there's no reason to anyway.

Check your PMail...

PS. I don't think any previous SPs have had maps up on the website.. we put the OS Grid Ref and the Lat/Long and a detailed description of how to get there in the event pack sent out.

Clive,

Thanks for replying.

Didn't know anything about the greenlaning planned for mon, sorry.

Im more than happy to help out with the organisation on the friday.

Cheers,

Sam.

P.S. It was one the coney farm event I was referring to that had map and directions on the website.

Great, we can have just one or two vehicles up there Friday afternoon, marking up and recc'ing etc. for sat morning. Collecting wood etc.
Might need to do a bit of strimming in the riverside campfield.. will come prepared :)

Orig. Sunday was an optional Green-Lane day, but was revised... the site's big enough for 2 days of driving those going I think know the plan for Monday but might check - it was indeed informal plan :)
the optional camping over was announced I think

sorry but I won't be able to make this one. Cash flow is a bit low and I need to spend out in the van for a few bits and bobs.

really wish I could make this as I missed the daytime action at Coney  don;t think I'm gonna be making any shows or meets at this rate till Vanfest

are you gonna be driving Strata Florida?, would love to know if it's do-able in a syncro without sinking mine :)
