got home a couple couple of hours ago. i think that i am right in saying that i am the only syncro that did not have a mechanical nor physical break down? (8 vans + baxter). realy good weekend. looked at the trip meter on the dash 856miles since thursday and not missed a beat

. and still driving in a straight line, thanks to andy for finding the first camp site and leading a group, dai for telling me where to go,
did not get to the east coast for a couple of reasons but the wild camping spot that we found fitted the bill and made a real good end to the day. will post up some pics later got to spend some time with a 4 year old covered in chicken pocks that came on the day after i left.

Nice to catch up with you all, and a few new faces (to me anyway)

under stans suggestion I stuffed tissue paper between the ribs in the sump and it hardly lost any Oil on the way back, Heh ho! Nevrr Mind.

Now including Andy on the same steps. Not a great vid, but does show the angle of ascent and the effect slippery rock steps have on road tyres.

Now at the workshop at Merton Road with Patricks van, getting head down for an early start tomorrow. Only setback so far is finding I must swap the crank pulley as Patricks van has PAS and the spare engine doesn't..

Syncro's don't sound that good for off-roading!
Much better to leave it in bits like mine.
