Hey All,

Sorry, more questions!

Having read through various posts re expansion tanks I've gleaned that quality varies! Is this one from Brickwerks the way to go?

http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/shop?page=s ... yword=tank

No VW van centre anywhere near me, so online is best..

Thanks,
Stu

Thanks again, Ian.

Bought. Just hope this van appreciates all the time and money it's having lavished on it!

So, if anything is to be learned it is 'don't order stuff in a hurry late at night'.... yep, sensor turned up and the connect is the new 'A' suffixed part. @rse

So, pressure now on to stem the flow before we go camping at 16:00 this avo. I've got it to just about stop with PTFE tape and have managed to get a new rubber seal that should fit. If that fails, I'll install the new sensor and leave the cable to it unplugged. We're only going 90 mins from home for a weekend....

Now, where's that wall I wanted to introduce my forehead to...

Just as an update... I replaced the rubber seal on the old sensor and that did the trick - not a drop leaked all weekend :-)

Just lulling you into a false sense of security it'll go as you set off to catch a ferry or something! :D

LOL - yes, I'm fast learning to assume nothing! New tank from Brickwerks arriving today and new sensor on order - so will slot that into the list of things to do! :ok
