Well that's that fixed then.
Tighten the pinch bolt.
Try starting in the morning, it may be a bit reluctant.
Set the timing at 5 or 6 degrees BTDC.
Remember that 0 degrees is at about 11 'o clock.
Do this at your friendly VW matey.
Mark the position with tippex or a scratch.
Run the thing for a bit, if its a bit valvy you may have to tweak the timing to 7 1/2 degrees btdc, (its the new petrol)
Go for your weekend. Have fun.
Then go to a homebrew shop:
1 tin Fisons muntona best bitter, or equivalent.
1 tin malt (same size)
