I think I am one of those other van's you have spotted in the Brixton area. I'm pretty much in the same situation as you. Bought a '89 Lhd, Westy hi-top about 3 months ago. Easy tiger - no doppelgangers please - up for Hobgoblin beer at sometime though, then you can find out!

There's a couple of other Brixtonites around these parts - I'll send a mail and see if people are up for a meet.
