It shouldn't be too hard to get someone to publish a book about these vans. There is a definite gap in the market which is flooded with books for the split and bay.
You wouldn't even need to write much, merely detail the conversions (brochure copy would suffice) and make note of any unusual features. It's worked for David Eccles and his publishing empire.

So many of those hideous 80's offerings are the reasons why I am taking so long to design our pop-top. The prospect of getting it wrong is almost a disincentive to progress

just found out that my camper was a varius, anybody know any info about it... is it that rare?
Difficult to find stuff on the net about it...
