Ok folks will try and post a few pics later it seems who ever converted my van to a high top cut the roof right back to the side supporting structure so my roof aperture is to big for the westy tent...... only by 10mm, so its going to be out with the welder and add some 20mm angle/box section.... nothing is ever straight forward

That's a nightmare for you, our roof has a support bar across, does yours? I'm not sure how essential this is.
Regarding the template, my van is being worked on, so i've not been able to do it today. I'm hoping for the workshop keys at the weekend, if not it will next week. Sorry if this is holding up work on either of the roofs.

Oh dear, it looks like you welding the roof again , these buses do cause a swing effect of emotion. Good luck with your repairs
Well I haven't got the workshop keys, so it's likes the templates are on for tuesday or wednesday.

Good luck mozzer! Let us know how you get on. Need to do mine even sooner now. Existing roof decided to lift up 3 times on the A1 on Friday. Felt like I'd deployed a rather clunky air brake!

Sorry for the template delay, my camper has been having treatment, been in the air and also been locked in so i've not had access to her. Well tomorrow is the day for doing them, I worked out a method and packed the steps so watch this space.

Good news, templates sorted and posted. I'll PM the instructions and my phone number in case it seems confusing. Good luck with fittings.
