So the moral of the story is that if a lad on a motorbike smacks into the side of you put in a window and a locker door! This conversion was probably inspired by many cups of tea and several coats of looking over. I watch with interest. :D

Of course 'Buttercup' has a door there as well!

looking brilliant.
a bit of dedication there methinks.

one question....why the locker door upside down?

Because its far more practical in terms of access to have a locker door that is lying flat; as opposed to clipped up in the air obstructing the view of whats inside unless you get dow on your haunches; can also see the offering of a platform on which to place things as being a plus.

Not a bad place to store your muddy recovery strops, shackles and perhaps the hi-lift. If you need to get at them when stuck down a narrow lane a lift up door would make things quite difficult imho.

Im only second guessing what Dai will be using the space for; could be a bar for all i know 8)

Looking well good though!

Thought i better update this post......its been a while and a lot has happened.

" its got a bit of seam rot in the usual places" is just the tip of the iceberg.I reckon that if i had left it another couple of years it may have been beyond saving:shock:

The target date of 1st april has been and gone,Sandy, who has been doing the metalwork, has been doing 3 days a week from the 11th of January and a tremendous amount of work and thought has gone into getting it just how i wanted it to be. i should have it home and painted for the begining of May and then its my turn to do some work on it :D

Wow, that's one extreme makeover !

The slideshow is fascinating, and an education. I'm loving the new bumpers, and all the subtle little mods and tweaks for clearance, strength etc. If I were considering anything like it I think I'd learn to weld myself though !
