Where you coming from? I almost always use Stena Line. I suppose if you are coming from the southern counties you could use the Rosslare/Fishguard route. From the Midlands you can go via Holyhead/Dublin or from Scotland you can go via Stranraer/Belfast

Currently Petrol and diesel are cheaper in Ireland than in UK. LPG is expensive here compared to UK prices

just checked ferry prices Irish ferries are the cheapest at the moment at 124 each way stena are about 130-50 from holyhead to dublin, stranely enough the pembroke rosslaire ferries actually work out about £10-15 cheaper on either site will ask around for the promo code over here so peeps can get about 10% discount on stena or see if they could do a group discount on either route, will chat to the club today as regards when it would be possible to access the forest should be ok to get it for the fri night will post up some more pics and possible sites for people to visit and look into the Dartfield site. Also Andrew has promised us fish and chips if he's recovered from his manflu by then

won't suit everyone but you can get a ferry from birkenhead (liverpool) to Dublin with DFDS
it takes a long time to get to Ireland as it's more set up for lorrry drivers about 7 hours I think
but good bit is if your flexible on times and dates cheapest return was £170 all in which includes a meal on the daytime ferry just seeing if I can get a discount code on it before booking

Is there still a Swansea to Cork ferry?

Yes still running but its a 12 hour only overnight sailing and would have to go out on Wed 8th and back on Tues 14th. With a cabin both ways its £486. Can get it cheaper by booking a reclining chair, but still the sailing dates don't really suit.

Not sure on that but all the other ones run 2 or 3 times a day and are much cheaper. Holyhead / Dublin is the cheapest passenger fery and Holyhead / Dun Laoghaire is the quickest at 99 minutes! Used to do this trip twice a week... every week!

I just did a price check with Stena Line and it should cost about £160 return. It might be a little more if you have a high top but I doubt it.
