dont know if this has any relevance to you city dwellers but according to vosa no syncro is a commercial vehicle " that is if i have read and understood their bullshit correctly".

a commercial vehicle is said to be for the purpose of carrying goods only. if it has another use ie 4wd or multi seat ect then it can be classed as a dual purpose vehicle and different rules apply. ????

Regarding LEZ,having just checked mine again on line,(I first did it in Feb.2008) it is still the same i.e saying that both from now til 2 Jan 2012 AND 3 Jan 2012 onwards, status IS EXEMPT.So that`s good enough for me!.Afterall the cameras that will be checking the registration number should`nt come up with a different answer to what I`ve got.
My syncro is registered as : motor caravan,PLG,2500KG gross, heavy oil,1896cc(AAZ engine)
To check your vehicle go to Transport for London and check your vehicle/compliance.

i was clearing up some ancient paperwork today and came across a photocopy of the swiss reg doc from a syncro doka i broke a couple of years ago, the gross weight is given as 2510kg.

i'm sure i can find more useless information if you want.
