The JK rubbers have driven me bonkers.
I've triad three different autoglass fitters who have given up after a long time trying to fit them, destroying two seals trying.
I have found a firm called seals direct who supply every type of rubber profile you can imagine and who will send out free samples of anything you require. Its just a question of measuring metal and glass thickness and ordering per metre, which works out cheaper also.

This is balls up after balls up on my part.
On closer inspection I've found that the sliding door window is metal to glass but other side windows are metal plus internal plastic to glass ie: a double skin.
No wonder they are struggling.
The rubber profile on the JK supplied kit seals are 1m to 4m slots when they need to be 5m to 5m or thereabout to cope with the double skin.
It's become a major pain in the a***.

Windows now fitted using the correct profile size ie: 5m+5m for the double skin windows and 5m+1.6m for the others including the louvre frame.
It took my expert 1.5 hours of fairly hard graft and cost £60.
Anyone else thinking of having it done can email me and I'll put them in touch.
Local to Aylesbury area.
