Unfortunately, I have to go via Torquay, which means taking the Plymouth route to Cornwall, otherwise that wouldn't be a bad plan. Ta for the suggestion though...

Well I stopped overnight in ASDA at cribbs causeway, last year on the way to Glasto
Yeah, there were a couple of boy racers for a short time, but they buggered off soon enough and we had a good nights kip with no hassles
Wouldn't hesitate to stop there again

Yep its only about £7, there are showers but I think there was always a queue.
You could pull off the M5 at the Gordano services junction (19) and go into Easton in Gordano - someone told me you could park up there overnight without a worry.

Thanks chaps. I think I'll stop off at Cribbs and take a look then - and if its too noisy or anything I'll move on down to Gordano.
