Well things have improved a little. I changed the fuel filter before work this moring and this evening I found a pipe had come off the bottom of the right hand carb which explains the sudden stallin the other night, it had popped off. Once I put this back on the van idled well. I also put some exhaust filler alog the seam of the silencer because it's not the best and took it for another test drive. The stalling at junctions has definately improved, I still need to put it into neutral and give a little bit of gas occasionally but there seems to be an improvement over what it's been like before.

The misfiring was gone for the first 20 odd minutes but after that there was a few misfires and possibly a backfire when slowing but again better than it has been I think. I'm hoping this is still an issue with the exhaust, and I've noticed where the the two pipes from the engine join the heat echangers the joints seem to have worn or been corroded and are a bit loose. Could this be causing the misfire?

I did the drive test with the brakes and it wasn't pulling to the left but that wheel was hot after the drive and the other 3 only warm so there'S definately an issue there. Will have a closer look at the weekend otherwise it'S a workshop job end of October
