Sorted ! Whipped the prop off !!! Fine for road use and green laning with rear difflock and if I feel the need to get down and dirty whack it back on, 10min job! Seriously I guess the VC is tighter than it should be, is there anyone in the Swindon area that could help?

Do the VC test with the piece of 2x4. I have a refurb VC in my shed if you're stuck ....

Tried the 4x2 test didn't seem too bad but being my first Syncro not so sure. When hot it's hard work on a lock. Thanks for the vc offer, I may take you up on it depending on beer tokens involved plus shipping ??? Baz

They all get tighter when hot, ie, after high-speed run.
Fit a decoupler then its a 2 second job!
or
I've got a 5000km refurb VC too, although mine would be more like 'fine single malt tokens'!

I am going to report this thread for being brutally hijacked, off topic and homophobic.
Well, there's always someone moaning about one of my threads, so I thought I'd give it a go

Thanks Guys for all the info, very informative and entertaining!!!! I'm gonna leave the steering standard and not be a big girls blouse!!! Must try to save beer tokens for a recon vc and if I give up rollups as well I might go for the de-coupler if nothing else breaks!!!???
