All correct. Apply it thinly. To be honest I've found that if you Vactan an area and then (on a dry day) flat level and paint straight over there and then with Rustoleumn, the rust has little or no chance to start up again. Damp conditions are entirely different though...

As for buying a T4 to put an end to rust on a T3, yep but not for long.....

thanks for the heads up covkid. here's my little review of vactan.

rust will come back through if you don't get all the rust through and definitely prime on top of it sooner rather than later. but it seems good to seal up seams from the inside to stop any water ingress and further internal seam rust, and then i would suggest getting all the rust off the outside of the seams and then pushing in high zinc primer on the outside, something a bit more durable.
