My boss has been fretting about the fuel (diesel) for the 7.5 tonners.
I have informed him that there is an alternative to bankruptcy, could you discuss this with him somehow?
your thoughts are appreciated.

Yes let me know when you have more details 2. thanks Pete.
Attention S OSHEA, YOU MENTION YOUR PUMP WENT USING VEG OIL? was it straight veg oil or a mix 50 / 50 diesel / veg oil/
I`m having no probs at mo on 50/50 and less in cooler times.

Update:
I finally installed the kit on my van yesterday - not recommended if you have a hangover
This means I can test the van out on my holiday in France. Its got 30 litres of veg oil in about 20 litres of Bio diesel but should become more veggie oil as the holiday goes on.
Sadly, I wasn't able to film the installation as I couldn't get a video camera from Uni and I couldn't wait till I could either.
Back on the 14th June briefly then properly back on the 19th

I shall hope to have details ready this week - kust got back from France, via Somerset, via Staffordshire and I'm away a bit this week too and next weekend so I'll try to get some photos of the conversion up and some more details available.
I have been running on Veg oil pretty much 100% - and I've had no problems
I'll be back on here a bit more too

Just noticed this post. Count me in as interested if it's a straightforward "fit - fill - drive" installation job.

I thought veg oil could just be mixed in the tank with the normal Diesel (as long as you declare it and pay duty). Or am I missing something...

Well it only took me 8 months and 2 days to respond
I am very interested. I don't have my Syncro yet but if I can fit it into my little runabout and take it out when the Syncro comes to me, then I am in

yes it can, and used oil is even thinner so even less mixing.
To be honest, my old type 2 will run on SVO without thinning it down (and yes, I am registered as a fuel producer.......did it when I worked at HMRC) so cant see the point of a kit for our old oil burners. It is mainly the modern engines that need the oil heating.
Having said that we have an LT46 comes into our place, 2.8 with common rail motor running SVO, has been for 3 years now with no ill effects and no pre heating
