Why does nobody talk properer like what we do?

So to recap. Powerflex steering rack bushes are betterer than stock bushes which are worser?

Not so much better as stiffer. Have used them on beetles and hated the ride to be honest. Likewise on T25s, replacing all bushes with powerflex doesn't suit everyone - me included. I'd say moderately used (ie not everywhere) they can improve handling but don't assume that replacing all with powerflex will be a vast improvement over stock - it doesn't quite work like that.

Yeah, sorry about the 'betterer' ... it was intended for the consumption of people with a sense of humour.

Yes and no... :rofl
No the steering rack bushes wont make the ride different.. they will make it much more precise to steer.. I too was surprised how much.. did the caravelle ones several years ago..

Yes.. a full set in the arbs, inner track control arms etc may well "firm up" the ride.. depending on what "strength" the polymer is.. I'll prob use the lower arm ones in the syncro as it gets used off road and they are easier to fit than the stock ones...

In high crosswinds I could feel the van moving on the rack, swapped the (really knackered) old bushes for powerflex and no more lateral wanderings.
