I just spent a good hour going through those threads - incredible.
Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for - ideas more than anything.
The centre console idea is really good on there... some folks have really gone to town with it, perfect!
Most exciting idea I saw is in the link below, available in the UK of all places!
http://www.mudstuff.co.uk/MUD_pod_mini.shtml
Any further input?
Thanks for those links.

I should have been paying more attention - what is the brand of those roll-top units? They are fantastic! Really suit the angular lines of the T3.
Just watched it again - Sortimo Speedwave "outdoor module" but the website isn't so helpful...can't locate any kind of stockist - must be direct sales and £££££

But there is a pdf brochure

no prices

Short-term memory loss means that I forgot to write it down...

I'll dig the name out for you, but be warned - bring lots of money.
Those cupboards are worth more than my bus.

Here you go -
http://www.sortimo.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And here is a list of all suppliers used in the project.

This is the brochure:
http://www.sortimo.ru/download/outdoor_modules.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Which seems to come from Romania

But the "outdoor module" isn't listed on the co.uk. site. Strange.

I seem to remember that the sink/burner unit with the cheap picnic stove in was about 1300yoyos.

I looked through the threads as quoted earlier by Lloyd.
There are some awesome pics on there, some people have put a lot of work into it.
The takeaway I got was a reference to
http://www.mudstuff.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, they make Landy parts and have a range of instrument cluster blanks at a good price.
Was even looking at their big console - it looks to attach to something landrovers must have, and might foul on a t25 gearstick, but maybe....
Those cupboards are rockin, but not at those prices. Ikea should make some for ordinary people....

My dash is modified mainly to suit the smaller steering wheel. The Rev Counter and clock came from a scrapped TR7 (cost £5) and adapted to fit into the VW clock/fuel/temp housing. The original fuel/temp gauges were combined into one and re-located. The warning display has also been moved down into a better viewing position. Replacing the membrane pcb with an alternative allows you more scope. The analogue clock could be some other type if it fits in the aperture. Just time consuming to do and better if you have a spare dash to play with.

I hadn't seen the 'Curry hook' on there.... genius!
In fact, my blower comes out so hot on the passenger footwell some strategic mounting could make it a "heated curry hook".
amazin.

Meisters! That's pure fallacy. I've worked alongside/with them for 11 years. Meisters they are not.
I'd rather have a team of Brits any time.
If you gave Syncronuts or Baxter the same amount of money they'd build something better (i.e. without the useless roll cage).
Have to be honest, as cool as that van is, it's a tad harsh on the interior, more like an interior of a tv/satalite wagon or something.

I have to agree. It's the visual equivalent of German industrial hardcore Techno

I'd rather have Ambient chillout
