It's also confusing when summat "fixes itself" unless my van is protected by a ethreal white spell cast by someone in its past

( reminds my of that film "Christine" abought the yanky car that kept fixing itself !! )

Ghost 123uk- I like the film Christine.... always wanted a car to fix itself!!

Hopefully the brick will,

but it will only get worse later....
the air filter says it's got hydraulics

Wow that's alot of information!!
I'll take for a 30 minutes run and change the oil if the noise doesn't go away i'll cry!

Have you tried an engine flush mine done the same flushed it changed the oil and filter drive round the block purrs like a kitten

Was going to change the oil tonight/weekend
What engine flush did you use? Wynn's? or something like that?
Took it for a run did about 10 mile round town was out for about 30 mins or so, seemed to quieten down or I might have got in used to it!!?
I'll fire him up tonight to see if the noise is really better or I dreamt it!!

Use a good quality mineral oil not synthetic or semi as they are to thin i used wynns engine flush in mine
