Useful to know cause it gives us an idea of their history - spasmodic use and maybe a lot of adventures
but less likely to have been overworked as a daily workhorse. Special

Hi
We have a caravelle camping with this logo on it which also has a Bilbo hightop. I bought the van thinking it was a Bilbo but was plesently surprised to work out that it was actually an Autohomes that had had a Bilbo roof put on later on in life for what ever reason. The giveaway was seeing pictures of other peoples Autohomes interiors and seeing a sticker in the front quarter light window on ours from Autohomes.
Maybe yours is similarly, a conversion from new that has had a replacement roof put on it??????
Good luck sorting it all out.

On early versions you'd get "camping" or "bus" ex works ...later to be replaced by "joker" or "caravelle" or even "vanagon"
But later on you could buy these stickers off the shelf in the German equivalents of Halfords

The great thing about a Type 25, no two are the same. Ever. History's one thing, but just how are you making your Transporter truly yours?
Nice paintjob btw.

I agree. But boy has it been fun finding out more about our camper's origin. We are family with a family's variety of quirks. Love it.
Thank you everyone for posting
