I went for the heavy duty one, which is a bit more beefy 50-70amp rathe than the 30-40amp, but what difference it will really make in my setup im not sure, got nothing to hefty running on it, just me being over cautious... might be worth a shout if you get the battey meter free. I got a Zig panel which has a battery monitor on.

That 2nd kit sayd it also has 30amp fuses.
To be honest I dont know the difference in all these kit, do higher rated kits allow higher rates of charge before the fuse blows?

Essentially, if the leisure is very low, the connections to it need to be fairly good so you don't see things getting hot when its being charged or under heavy load. This is really the thinking behind 'beefing' everything up. Mine is rated up to around 80-100amps. I'm using an 80amp relay and that seems to do the job. Interestingly we did Chickenkoop's today using the red cable from cooker cable - more than enough for the job.

Quick update, over the weekend got the Leisure Battery, Split Charge Kit and a new fuse box installed. Easily done in an afternoon.
Not had a chance to actually see it in action as the Vans not moved off the drive for about a month or so, so there is less charge in the main battery than the new leisure, but taking the van out for the first time next weekend camping so will let you know if I have done anything wrong or if it doesnt do what it says on the tin.
Only problem now is I have a just 1 week to get everything else FINISHED!!!
