..no mate..really appreciate the offer but i think ill manage..gails got legs like a footballer after all the years of bleeding brakes with me

ok...investigated today and there was air in the pipe....bled it through and now its back to about 1-2" lift then it starts to engage
it might have been some air that got through from when i changed the master cylinder a while ago but if it does it again ill have to investigate further..theres no signs of leaking anywhere so fingers x...its fixed....thanks again to everyone who took an interest ,your the dogs !!
