it is mate, but postage on top takes it over the £18.99 that it is from your local Halfords, but having said that you don't get 5litres...?

Noisy tappets! My old engine sounded like a hay turner and that was after a rebuild, no way could I have picked out a tappet ticking over the racket.

Tesco's sell a basic mineral oil - not thre 99p value stuff. but a reasonable mineral oil for £3 for 2 ltrs. or £10 for 4 ltrs. - yep thats not a typo. Its the same with lots of stuff in Tesco's recently.

thanks for that, the tappets did quiet down after a few miles. Have since left it to go cold and started up, the tappets are little noisey on initial start up and after a few seconds go quiet - so normal i guess..?
I'll have to use the bus a bit and see how they are, but i will change the oil to a mineral based 10 or 15w 40 oil before we go away in it at the end of this month...
