				Haha it already has an isolator switch so don't think the pump of lights is for security lol
I do have a multimeter and willing to give it a go, just have no idea about electrics etc
The pump is also precariously situated under the cab, its held in with cable ties 
My Main problems at moment are:
Window wipers not moving at all (think its a fuse)
Water temp shows as permanently high and the light flashes on and off constantly !!???:(:(:(
Dash is rusted at corners
Is a new dash easy to replace? and any ideas about the water temp light and guage?
Hoping i haven't bitten off more than i can chew / afford

				You can always afford it somehow, imagine life without such a cantankerous beast as a T25 - I couldn't.

I've never seens any kind of driving stlye that'd cause that  
 
personally I'd leave it as it is, and inform the MOT man
