ok, the flywheel is the suspect i think, it looks like its got "smudges" on it, but infact it hasnt, cant think of a better way of describing it. Hot spots???
i originally thought that maybe it was because of the limited movement on the clutch causing it to drag , and that it would clean itself up with the now correct travel happening,after a few miles but it seems not.
it give all the symptoms of either oil contaimination or knackered clutch, but neither were the case, the clutch plate, fingers and pressure plate all look good, so im thinking a fresh good flywheel, but am not sure of the gearbox code (forgot to look while it was out)
im pretty sure its DK box tho, so that should work out ok???
(and i only stopped for a hour in the layby, not a nights sleep!!!)
