There is a small Village style garage with small shop yes. For anything bigger its Shipton, Welsborne or of course Stratford, which aren't that far away.
Never been in the pub, seems busy but my the karting team I used to work for always drove down the road to Alderminster rather than Halford, despite being only a few hundred metres out of the vilage.
Trying to think where you can get Gas from locally (someones gonna need it unless they
had a big wardrobe?). Not sure about Shipston but most the forcorts around the area are Shell (do they do it? Never seen it). There is a farm surplies place in Bearley (just off Birmingham Rd north of Stratford) that does it though. For Some reason fuel is slightly cheeper in the Leamington Spa area and north of that, so its worth if if you're passing.

Got home with a big smile on my face. Thank you everyone for a great weekend.
Special thanks to Aidan for the driving lessons and spotting, Glenn for assistance with removing my chin spoiler, Clive, Jenny and Doug for organising (did I leave anyone out?) and Roger and Mike for showing repeatedly how to get stuck and do extraction respectively - very instructive.
The trials course was most enjoyable. I feel the expense of buying the van is finally paying off.
See you at Syncropendance for more fun!
If any chaps local to Bristol fancy a jaunt down some green lanes sometime, get in touch as I'm sure we could fill a day in the Mendips and North Somerset.
cheers
Patrick. (soon to be changing his username as phpct is just plain daft!).

You know what it was a really good little venue, the seesaw i especially liked. Great to meet and relax with some newer members and i thought it was great to see the likes of young Tom getting amongst it and its reassuring knowing some younger people are going to keep these awesome vans on the road. I really enjoyed the campfire last night too and i recon Neil will be back for more also.
