Well, I've been in there and taken the vent apart and it all looks okay. Need to get a step ladder and have a look at the seal around the vent now.

The plywood is looking a bit bowed but it's all dried out now. Bit disappointed as it's a nightmare to have a leaking roof really :?

Have also found that I can lift the roof from the back from the outside. Not sure how it's supposed to be secured down. Wondering if it's because I collapse the front first then the back.

It's really hard collapsing the roof on yer own!

:(

Have a word with mininut, I think he has the same pop top as you.

Cool, thanks Tony.

I've realised that the rear has to be collapsed first and that fixed the problem.

Spent half hour trying to work the satnav off a 12v connector that i tied up to the battery before realising the satnav cable has gone kaput!

Rushed off now very late for lunch outing and 2 miles up the road realised I hadn't checked the poptop so hopped out at traffic lights and sure enuff the front wasn't secured!

Carried on and another 3 miles thought "what the hell is that clunking sound" and realised hadn't closed passenger door properly!!

On the upside, it hasn't rained for a few days and we had a lovely run out this arvo and I am getting to know Tink a little better now.

LOL!

I prolly shouldn't embarrass myself any further by telling you I thought it was a can of sprite i put in the fridge OR that 3yr old princess was in the passenger seat snoozing! Strapped in of course but even so!

Daughter was so right later in the afternoon after I rushed her crossing a busy road when she shouted "Bad Parent" at the top of her voice!

:rollin

ps: still pissed off about satnav but rather chuffed i made my way to Holloway using my retro A-Z!
