Yes experience does go a long way, Autodata from 2002 quotes it at 65nm fyi, corrected on the next update, I now have 2004 which specifies it correctly as 50nm, I have always used the Reinz kits and never had a problem, like I said the only problem we had was an over torquing problem which shredded the gasket in a week, I've bought one Elring kit, from Baxter and it was no different.

Like I said make up your own minds and save yourselves some money be it £5 or £40

Maybe Reinz now source from the same place that Elring do seeing as they had a lot of problems.
Admittedly it was a long time since I have seen a Reinz kit, who's names are on the crank seals etc?

Both the reinz kits I have, didnt have sealant with them... was a while ago... but used half a kit and havent had a gasket problem... doing an engine shortly... not sure if I want to use the "old " Reinz kit I have or if I should get a new R or E kit... (unfortunatly, money is tight now... and I cant justify the £130 you have em up for Si....) so I'll have to risk it for a biscuit with the old kit I reckon.......... :|
It will prob come apart for some investigations and mods in anycase....

They are expensive, nothing I can do about the exchange rate Either, but I have heard recently some parts will be coming down soon.
The WBX gasket sets did go up a silly amount compared to everything else though, same mark up on those as everything else.
