A steering gator was the only thing mentioned. Its going in for full custom stainless exhaust from longlife for £600 (they did my camper and it is very good) and then to sprayer fella we know for a full respray £700 and a bit of welding to the door steps. Then a set of 15'' steelys and new AT tyres (any steel rims for sale) oh and new doors are going on with opening quarters too from Jakes stores. Then a plastic back if we can get one

new stickers, service, change any bits that look shot and then it should be a straight van in about two/three weeks. Will look better than it did festering in that fellas garden last week anyway

Didn't you want a full syncro camper? I might of remembered it wrong. Anyhow that is a real bargain, you can pay £500 for a gearbox.
But as you can see, Neil, is going to be spending a couple of K on it. If he were selling & wanted to get most of his investment/money back, I guess he would have to sell for around £2500.
And that is not a camper.
There looks a very nice/sorted/lots of new bits, camper in the For Sale section now.

I said I was after a solid syncro bus where bodywork was most important for less than 2.5k and then gave a list of nice to haves to aim for....
to be fair most of the comments on the site were just saying that my target was unrealistic, it was only a couple of PMs that were just rude/unnecessary
