Can vouch for the aftermarket affair.....Mines on an A plate.....wire to the coil....works fine. Only thing is it is a multi-purpose guage....goes upto 12,000 revs :shock: , so you can imagine the needle doesn't move alot!!!! Kev's looks a little neater...but I have got a red light that flashes when it reaches a limit determined by the user!!! As the caravelle has a 2,000 to 4,000 "green" range, the light comes on a 3,500 revs!!! (and i very rarely see it)
